It’s always been up for debate about Lass, but it came back because one of the people they asked about Gary Francis Poste said that Poste had claimed he’d “left a she in a tree.” I don’t know much of anything about the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker, if I’ve read anything about that case I’d forgotten it. America’s fixation on serial killers, as you probably already know, has to do with the luridness of the crimes more than victim count–Dean Corll killed 29, which is 12 more than Dahmer, but who do people know more about. Joseph James DeAngelo also has more victims than Zodiac that we know of.
