I remember Aguirre being great, but I don’t remember most of the middle of it and probably saw it 20 years ago. Should rewatch.

I’ve never seen Fitzcarraldo. That thing with the boat sounds even more irresponsible and more premeditated than the Twilight Zone movie stunt that actually got people killed.

I quite liked Nosferatu so I’m glad you’ve come around on it. I guess not surprising, you’re comment about it remind me of your Stalker review. I should rewatch that too, and see the new one.

I actually liked Bamboozled, although I agree it is deeply flawed and everything except the TV show sequences (which were shot in film) look like shit. I think the Mantan sequences in general are great, so it probably rode alot of the goodwill from those scenes for me. Btw, in the collage of old-racist-movie scenes, the centerpiece of Stepin Fetchit leading the parade are from Judge Priest, generally regarded as one of the best pre-Stagecoach John Ford movies/best Will Rogers movies and one of J-Ro’s personal favorites.
