I’m not defending Landis in any way, but my understanding was that the laws he broke were in regards to having children work at night (I think that was possible with more red tape) and having them around explosives. Obviously, if he hadn’t done that then two kids wouldn’t have been killed, but I don’t think that he broke laws to make the stunt itself more dangerous in itself to whatever people were in the scene.

I don’t think it’s even possible to really explore most of Fetchit’s career based on available movies.

If Stalker has been made as an American TV series in 2017, and then never aired, it would have been this:

TBH, that actually looks more like the book than Stalker was, although his daughter isn’t Carrie in the book.

There was also a 1977 Czechoslovak TV miniseries too, but all copies were destroyed by the censors. I’m unclear as to whether only the first episode was shown, or the entire thing was shown once.
