John Ford? I’ve seen Stagecoach, The Grapes Of Wrath, My Darling Clementine, The Searchers and The Man Who Shot Liberty…oh, never mind, yeah, yeah, the guy’s got two hundred films, I know. Right, look, gimme awhile and I’ll watch more.

I’m rewatching a bunch of films I haven’t seen since 2006…eagle-eyed Babblers may remember that I did a giant review post back then where I ranked them all into various categories of good, but I guess I shouldn’t expect anyone to remember that.

I read these Stephen King books under no delusions whatsoever that he was some great artist or whatever. Anyone who wants to be Derrick Stuart and rag on me for reading this stuff instead of Jorge Luis Borges (not that I don’t want to read Jorge Luis Borges) or whoever, is certainly entitled to do so; I’m going to be re-reading Lolita, Animal Farm, Crome Yellow, Brief Candles, Hogg and all four Nathanael West books in the next couple of months as part of another anniversary, so it’s not like I don’t want to read art anymore.
