Without checking, I believe you can find Rage online, but I can’t stand reading something that long on a screen. If I ever read it I’d have to ILL it, unless I find some dumbass selling it for $1 at a yard sale or something (which I did with Neil Young’s On the Beach back when that was selling for the same price Rage is now). The older version of The Bachman Books was in print longer than the stand-alone paperback, so that’s the easiest one to find, but it’s still expensive.
The original version of The Stand is also fairly hard to find now, although more libraries will have it hanging around than Rage. I guess with The Stand, there were two dimensions to the 1990 change, 1) restoring stuff that was only cut because they’d have had to print and bind the original paperbacks differently if the book was longer (or something like that) and 2) updating it. It looks like most big King fans who have read both versions think that the 1990 version is better over all, but they should have just restored it without updating it.
I think I’ve had The Mist movie spoiled for me, but hopefully I missunderstood it so that I can still be surprised. If not, then oh well.
Holy crap that second Pet Cemetery cover is awful. The original one is so iconic that I thought that it was also the movie poster, but checking just now, that’s not true.
The original Carrie cover is pretty wtf
I’m sure you’ve seen it, but

Your embeds worked fine, but I’ve actually been having trouble doing that lately, and I don’t know why.
