I get Faith Hill and another Faith (not No More) or Hill who was linked to the Notorious B.I.G.

Honestly I don’t remember much of this year since I had started listening to Napster albums and my own CDs. “Thong Song” is epic and I’d like to know what you thought of the video. I had stopped watching MTV by this year so I don’t really know the general-poo ones, sorry – much of it wouldn’t have been on TRL anyway. For instance, I don’t remember the Faith Hill song. At all. (I like “Kryptonite”, dammit. And “This Is How You Remind Me.”) Oh ok I remember “Breathe”. The verses are a snooze. I also remember “This Kiss”, which is the one with the word “centripetal motion”.

I like “Maria Maria” a lot better than “Smooth”. He did (at least) a second album with pop artists which bombed IIRC.

“Everything You Want” sucks. Vertical Horizon had at least one good song, right? Maybe I’m just thinking of Stabbing Westward, which had the absolute banger “Save Yourself” in 1998.

From here I probably won’t remember much because I was checked out of pop music by 2001 and radio rock since the waning days of nu-metal.
