I’d forgotten about the Big Epic Key Change towards the end of the song, and since I hadn’t watched the video in about 25 years, I’d forgotten how freaky it was when he “airwalks” over that crowd of bikini beach butt babes and then is on stage with the freaky blue lighting and his eyes looking all weird and scary. I mention this because it’s the only thing about the song that works at all. If it hadn’t been for that big epic key change, I’d have written this song off as complete crap. I hadn’t remembered how it went at all, and before the key change it’s not interesting on a lyrical or musical level in any way, shape or form. Ditto for the video.

Aside from that…the only thing I know about Sisqo was that he was in, and got billing on the poster for, a really shitty teen film called Get Over It around this time. I have no idea how good an actor he was, I don’t know his real name or how old he is, I don’t know what he’s done since, but I do know that for most of the video his silver hair looks like he sprayed fucking WD-40 on his head.
