I’ve seen that Victor Day video before.
The game I was playing? It’s the one I posted the video for in the post you just replied to. “Dverghold,” the game I was playing, is not free, and it’s not political/racist. The early access release is getting a warm reception and I’m sure is reaching people who are cheerfully oblivious to the background of the developers. It’s a retro dungeon crawler inspired by other games I’ve been playing recently.
Heimat [Homeland] Defender: Rebellion, their most explicitly reactionary game, the one with Global-Homo Inc. in it, i was free.
The Great Rebellion is the newer political game. The version they’re selling on Steam has been somewhat (but apparently not completely) sanitized, but you can get the unfiltered one on their website. They were going to get the sanitized version released on Switch but Nintendo pulled the plug the day before after someone blew the whistle on what the subtext was and who they were dealing with.
