I don’t think I’ve read reviews of any tour that were as consistently bad as the last few years of BB King’s career. It sounded depressing and I’m sorry for anyone who saw it. I saw him a couple of times before he fell apart. He was still putting on good shows in his early ’80s (although the two I saw were exactly the same and I bet that was true for years), but it seemed abusive to have let him tour like that his last couple years when the shows were apparently all completely disastrous.
