I actually just saw Dylan’s Rough and Rowdy Ways tour. It was my second time seeing him. It stirred feeling of regret for some shows I could have gone to in between those two shows, but skipped because I didn’t have that much money and it felt expensive. I would have gone to any of them if I hadn’t seen him before though.

Around 2010 was supposed to be the low point for his 21st century live shows mostly because of his vocals. Some people didn’t like the organ he was playing then either. One of the shows I missed would have been around then, in 2009. The other time I saw Willie Nelson was about 7 months before then. Shortly after that they announced that he was coming back with Dylan and John Mellencamp. I was mad because if I’d known that was happening I wouldn’t have gone to the first Willie Nelson show, but I didn’t want to drop the money for two people I’d seen in the last 5 years and one that I wouldn’t pay to see by themselves (although I don’t hate Mellencamp and would probably have enjoyed him as an opener for the other two acts).
