So… I just don’t have enough time these days to get into internet arguments like I did when I was younger, so I’ll likely be a bit brief and won’t be able to respond to everything or elucidate all my thoughts as much as I would like, but here goes…
In response to the first paragraph:
If people come in illegally, they should be thrown out. Tough. They broke the law. Cry me a river.
The only protesters that got killed were assaulting law enforcement. They got what they deserved.
Politicians always play with lives and livelihoods - that’s their job, essentially.
Democrat governments withhold things from red states too.
No, I do not think Trump is a disgusting human being.
In response to the second paragraph:
From what I’ve read, the battle between the 3 branches of government is eternal and ongoing and will never end. I don’t think Trump has been any worse than any other. Most likely it just gets reported more by a media that is overwhelmingly leftwing. The media has lied so much, especially about Trump, over the past 15 years, that I can’t believe half the garbage they pump out anymore. Boy who cried wolf, I guess?
Sorry! Those are my honest feelings.
I think the primary issue right now in all Western countries is immigration - both legal and illegal. Because immigrants are overwhelmingly leftwing voters, leftwing parties use them as “voter factories” by bribing them with free goodies (whether its just straight benefits or housing or whatever else). This very concept breaks the idea of democracy - it’s like one side having an infinite vote-printing machine. Besides which, I also feel it is not conducive to any civilization long-term for productive people to be bankrolling unproductive people. 140 million people are born every year. 65 million die. There’s no shortage of humans. Everything is transient - all that really matters long-term is technological progress, and building knowledge generation on generation.
I’ve also found that over the past 15 years, politics has become much more of a mainstream fashion trend than ever before. A lot of the time people express beliefs or a side without ever having thoughts things through thoroughly (virtue signalling). I’m not saying that’s you - just in general. The hysteria over Trump is a perfect example.
