“Rape is about power, not sex,” has long been one of the most easily refuted unexamined PC assumptions that many people strongly believe. Anyhow, there’s nothing wrong with agreeing with some arguments made by people you otherwise abhor. Only idiots agree lockstep with conservative/liberal orthodoxy; normal people can be wildly heterodox when it comes to political opinions, depending on the particular issue.

And Goad’s centerpiece issue was race, along with sex - just look at his bibliography. It’s specifically entitled The Rape Issue for a reason. The other 3 issues cover a lot of other issues. The first issue has interviews with Russ Meyer, Iceberg Slim, Public Enemy, and Timothy Leary, for example. And skip to page #128 for a hilariously spot on takedown of the hipster “underground”.
