If I had bought that when I was a kid, I’m ashamed to admit this…but I might have thought it was hilarious. The whole snotty underground thing would have hit me right in the feels, for the same reason that buying obscure issues of Nintendo Power and buying Brainwash and Black Lemonade and Love Potion #69 at the Mr Bulkys candy store would have hit me right in the feels. Isn’t being 11 fun? And I’d have been caught with the damn thing and had my mouth washed out with soap. Of course, lots and lots of the “humor” that I’m seeing here is shit I would have ended up hearing in my redneck high school anyway.
