I don’t even remember hearing about the “just in a Bailey” thing.

I just looked at a few videos of people fighting Kraid and you can stand right up against him and stun lock him with the wave beam, but I’m not sure there’s a place to stand still and kill him with no damage. I think it’s easiest to use bombs on him.

I feel like you’re not likely to have the wave beam against Kraid unless you know your way around the game. TBH I didn’t find it the first time I played through it. If you beat Kraid first you’ll have alot of missiles against Ridley and don’t really need it.

With Ridley you can just stand on the right and blast him with the wave beam and it will destroy his fireballs and kill him easily that way. If you have the ice beam you can freeze his fireballs and still be able to hit him with missiles. I did that the first time I fought him, without having to be told to do it that way, and it was easy.
