Unrelated: I finally got a new computer, almost two years

after my last one stopped working for gaming. And guess what! I was all bummed because I was about to finish my replay of the first Avernum when the other one crapped out and I wasn’t sure if that game was saved in the cloud (I guess that’s inconsistent on Steam) but it was, so I was able to finish it in one setting. I’ll probably do some more exploring and sidequests before moving on to the second game.

Did you ever finish the second game? I remember that you started it.
