the “homeless” part is of my own doing. I gave up my apartment over a year ago and was alternating between work assignments and random locations. It’s a great life if you can get it. So Eastern Europe is my doing. But this lifestyle helpful to reduce my expenses, not having a big city US apartment rental/mortgage every month and switching to cheaper and cheaper locations.

Not sure how to feel about the job thing. I know people who have been out of work since February. Buuuut I might have a job offer coming in from the US government, ironically. Don’t know if that will pan out or if I would even accept it - or end up taking it and getting laid off anyways - so everything is week-by-week at the moment.
