That’s just it–it sounds like some yacht-rock song, “Tell Her About It” does. How did I not recognize Joel’s voice?

I did like the doc as a whole, though like most cable-TV docs/miniseries, it’s too long and seems to lack an overarching point. It’s still fun to watch most of it, though. Joel comes across as enough of an affable guy that the accusations of him being a dumbass that I’ve been hearing much of my life didn’t seem to apply anymore.

What did he and Christie Brinkley have to talk about? I’m not accusing her of being an airhead or anything, I just don’t know what they really had in common. Was she really such a trophy wife that he was willing to drink her away?

I noticed Oliver & Co. wasn’t mentioned, but that’s one of the Disney movies Disney doesn’t seem interested in resurrecting as a “classic.”

Brooks is 64 years old now, I guess that’s why he’s wearing that stocking cap? I…uh…well, it was sort of funny when he hosted SNL back in the day. I don’t really know any of his songs.
