Of course babble talked about twee pitchfork stuff, the time when babble was in its youthful prime was also the peak of that era, so that was all that stuff that was the most fresh and relevant. The first several New Pornographers albums were all still brand new back then. But their last great album was released more than a decade ago now!

Premiata Forneria Marconi and Banco del Mutuo Soccorso are both better italian prog bands than Metamorfosi. Fight me Duder!
Area are pretty good too. Never listened to Le Orme but I probably should. Been ages since I listened to any of this stuff though.
