I plan on hearing the first two Lennon albums before I die, if only the first two–I’ve sort of tapered off in terms of interest in Lennon over the years (debunking the idea that he was some sort of Saint of Peace is as tiresome as actually thinking he’s said Saint) but hearing the albums could still be worth my time.

But yes, “Imagine” is at this point a song impossible to listen to divorced from all the fuckerfuck.
