and then say that lots of Metallica fans hate the album now. If you weren’t a fan before that album came out, I should point out that The $5.98 E.P. – Garage Days Re-Revisited was widely regarded as a holy grail release by all the fans who hated Load and loved the ’80s albums. It was really hard to find and would rund you $50 for 5 songs if you did find it. It was also a big deal that they released Am I Evil, Blitzkreig, and So What.

EDIT: That said, I think the Garage Days Re-Revisited EP is surprisingly flat. It was made to break in Jason, but it would have been alot better with Cliff. It has the rigidity of And Justice For All, but these songs need to be rawer.
Of the other three songs I mentioned, So What is just juvenille shock humor, but Am I Evil and Blitzkreig are great, although the former is not very different from, or better than, the original. The Diamond Head has cooler vocals but is unfortunately slicker than the Metallica version.
