It’s doubtful that anyone beyond 60s garage aficionados would care about Love as anything more than that “7 & 7 Is” Nuggets band. Their reputation wouldn’t be any higher than the Remains or the Standells.

Maybe Marquee Moon?

The Clash would still be punk legends if not for London Calling but no more than that, they’d be forever tied to the punk ghetto like the Ramones.
