I actually think LA is decent. Dennis’s material is pretty strong on the album. Here Comes The Night sucks and that takes up a quarter of the record which is a big knock against it, but pretty much everything else is good enough. And similar to MIU the production hasn’t completely fallen off the 80s cliff yet so it’s pleasantly listenable.

Todd’s top and bottom hit songs of the year videos are often how I find out about what pop songs were hits in any given year. Yeah his video on Mardi Gras is a pretty good one, rewatched it recently.
