I’m writing this while no. 7 is still playing, but if it’s not here, I’ve got to give a shout-out to Shatterhand, which was like Batman or Ninja Gaiden but with power-ups obtained from bosses fought in any order, like Mega Man. I got it with Final Fantasy, Duck Tales 2 and Rescue Rangers 2 from the clearance bin at KB Toys when I got FF7 when it was in stores. How’s that for a haul?
