Guitarist? Did that whole stint they have with Johnny Marr just die on the vine right away, or what?
These guys didn’t have a very long day in the sun, did they? Paul C called ‘em “pleasantly mediocre”? I still really love about half of that one album they did! You know the one! “The World At Large,” “Float On,” “Blame It On The Tetons,” “Ocean Breathes Salty,” you dig? Does that album sound dated to kids today? It was 22 years ago. That’s as old as Van Halen 1 was when I graduated. But I guess Van Halen 1 sounded pretty awesome then, too
