ed: it looks late ’90s so I want to say Pop. The song sucks (I only watched the first minute or so maybe it U2-swells, as the strings suggest, but my patience with U2 really begins and ends with their first two albums and “Mysterious Ways”, maybe out of pure nostalgia.)

Is U2 the most critically-loved band most hated by the general public, and Bono has a lot to do with that, as was their forcing their album into every iTunes user’s library back when iTunes was a thing? Has any good band ever fallen a bigger victim to believing their own press clippings?
