I used to go through his CDs when I was a kid to find things that looked interesting to listen to before I had my own CD collection. I must have given the album a try at least a couple times. I can still recognize their version of Cats In The Cradle, and Everything About You hits some long forgotten nostalgia memory. But I don’t think I’ve heard a single person bring them up or my dad ever even put that album on of his own volition as far as I can recall.
Pulling up some tracks from that album, I had to LOL at “Neighbor” using the Mr Rogers theme as it’s main hook (and is that “It’s Pat” in the music video??) The production is actually surprisingly decent though. If they had better songwriting they could have had more staying power.
