I lived in the area then. A man tried to get into my house after following me as I was pushing my baby in a stroller. He was so insistent on coming in and making a call for his broke down car - on my dead end street - that I told him to hold on and went and locked all other doors and windows, and put my daughter in her crib.
I told him I could make the call, no, couldn’t do that he said. He had to input a card number. I said my husband will be here in 30 minutes and have a look at your car. He got really angry and pounded on the door. Said I was calling the cops and he took off - in his busted car.
I always wondered if he was this serial murderer. Sure looks like him.
