never expected that to actually happen considering how small her vocal part is. it’s a pretty thankless feature. Maybe she just did it to get tickets to their reunion shows lol. (or a more cynical take, get a bit of extra publicity from a high profile appearance). She did it again at the second show, I wonder if she’ll pop up at more gigs.

Anika’s got the verve to give the band the energy they need at their age. To be fair to Neil, he was in a lot of physical pain and whatnot towards the end which heavily affected his playing. but the band sounds more fresh now than they have in a while. Theyre also shuffling setlists for the first time which is great. I really liked the 2nd show’s set. Also there’s NO DRUM SOLO, I guess the band decided it would be too much for Anika to take Neil’s place in that regard. I’d have been down to hear her go nuts on the kit for a while tho. I’ve got tickets for their december shows, will they be even tighter by then or will they be weary from the end of the tour?
