I actually remember half those songs, at least the ones that have become pop culture staples that you still hear in public now and then (I Believe, No Scrubs, Baby One More Time, Genie in a Bottle, Livin’ La Vida Loca). Not that says anything about their quality, mind, but memorability has to count for something, right? That’s better than all those generic R&B ballads that no one remembers at all five years after they hit #1. I think it was 1998 or 1997 of your lists where I could not recognize a single damn song.

You know, it really sucks that I have to give up salads for the next couple of months or whenever it’s safe to eat lettuce again. I can’t remember the last time I ate at Taco Bell, sometime 2025?
