Last night I watched the first 30 minutes of American Beauty, and even though I am trying to stay sober right now, I was so depressed I walked to a bar. It has to be the most manipulative Hollywood tripe I have ever watched. I hate all the characters, but Annette Bening is hands down the worst. And she was nominated for an Academy Award! I cannot think of a more morally bankrupt movie character.

I just assume make sandwiches and wash dishes while the rest of this sh***y movie plays in the background.
