I just rewatched the episode with Elisha Cook playing the defense attorney. His acting comes across like it’s in the wrong fucking decade! I don’t know that I’d get rid of him or anything, it’s just an interesting observation.

The episode itself would be better if Kirk had actually killed that guy, just like Shawshank Redemption would have been better if Tim Robbins had actually murdered whoever, and the second, Stephen King/Baby boomer half didn’t come along to ruin things.

Or maybe not, but the second half is pretty corny.
