Paul Revere and the Raiders _ RNR HOF inductees and considered the most important band to come out of my semi-home city, Portland, OR.
The Dave Clark Five - I understand they had a great drummer.
Johnny Rivers - He did Secret Agent Man
Herman’s Hermits
The Osmonds
Three Dog Night - A cover band with great arrangements. Great songwriters like Harry Nillson and Randy Newman wrote some of their biggest hits.
War - Not obscured. Four times snubbed by the RNR HOF. Sisco Kid was the #1 selling record of 1971.
Linda Rondstadt
Carol King - Tapestry is one of the most critically acclaimed albums of all time
Barry Manilow
Sheena Easton
Rick Springfield - A soap opera hunk who turned to music and had a VH1 Behind the Music Special made about him.
You’ve listed too many popular ’80s artists to even name.
