I’m a couple of Kevin Bacons from those guys. Rick Dial & Billy Bob Thornton’s local band opened up for them in Little Rock back in the ’70s. Rick (RIP) was Dad of one of my high school friends and had minor roles in a lot of Thornton’s movies. My Dad went to high school with Rick & Billy Bob - they all played together on the football team.
