is that it sounds more like a ’70s mainstreem hard rock band going ’90s than and ’80s thrash band going ’90s. Reload is uglier and more solidly stuck in the era, although that’s not as clear if you just know the singles.
They’ve recent released alot of live stuff from the Load tour and while I would have loved to see one of these shows and am glad the recording are available, I agree with the shit they got for only playing Master of Puppets halfway through because the kids didn’t like long songs. Some people hate all the medley’s they did, but I think they did a good job putting together the Kill/Ride medley’s and making them feel like their own thing.
