I liked that book but it’s the Conrad book with the most unlikable characters. Also, it was made into a Hitchcock movie called Sabotage the same year he made an unrelated movie called Secret Agent.

Ted Kaczynski considered the anarchist character his hero, although everyone else thinks that Conrad was totally contemptuous of that character. He’s played by Robin Williams in the non-Hitchcock movie, which is the kind of classic-novel-adaptation that everyone says is faithful but bad.
