I’ve noticed there’s a lot of nostalgic build-up for these “sequels we thought would never happen” that, like, fades away INSTANTLY. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice? Bill & Ted Face The Music? Coming 2 America? And, yes, (though I couldn’t quite bring myself to hate it) Spinal Tap II? Really aren’t a lot of these movies just like glorified DVD extras? Christ, does it even have to be a bad movie to fade away? I for one liked the Borat sequel a lot but its only legacy seems to be that Maria Bakalova got a Hollywood career out of it.
