Peter Blake turns 94 today. He designed the “Sgt Pepper” cover. Amazing that he’s still alive but then again so is Klaus Voormann who designed the Revolver cover and John Kosh who did the same for Abbey Road (but he did not take the photo). And for good measure, Charles Front is still alive…he designed and drew the globular lettering on the cover of Rubber Soul.
