Angels Egg is kind of all over the place and reminds me more of Zappa and the Mothers or something but still really cool and has some catchy tunes. I tend to put it on the least out of the classic lineup of albums for some reason. Still a really cool album. Maybe I’ll appreciate it more in the future.

You is great cosmic jazzy space rock. Definitely grew on me more this year because I’ve been appreciating jazz fusion a lot more lately. The first 3 songs are very Daevid Allen and sound out of place but I appreciate how catchy and fun and silly they are. The first song sounds like a parody with the silly voice and reminds me of Ween or something years earlier.

It’s cool you dig Shamal too. After Daevid left they turned into standard jazz fusion with little of the personality of before but those 3 albums post YOU are still good and I like them as relaxing background music especially. Expresso II has a lot of cool sounding marimba. If you smoke soon and listen to it you might dig that one too.

BTW sorry you haven’t been feeling great but I hope things get better. I feel you that things get depressing and hopeless at times these days .
