I was a mod on the babble reddit so I was initially in favor of it and if people used it then I’d still go on it.
but there were several thigns about it that didnt work all that well for us. for one the main reddit page mixes up the posts with eveything else on reddit which is annoying. though you could always just go directly to the subreddit page to avoid that. it’s also harder to tell which threads have new posts and then find those new posts when scrolling through an active topic. also if something has a lot of back and forth it’ll hide long threads which is annoying since sometimes a post later in the discussion might intrest me and i’ll totally miss it. reddit is structured to have everyone responding to the main post and then once you get a few comment levels deep the later posts get more and more irrelivant in terms of how the pages are structured. whereas on here everything is weighted equally.
