At least judged on their hits, which are all I know. Adam Levine is one of those famous for being famous people now, ironically more famous than his old band.

True about Outkast. I remember some controversy over the White Stripes winning some awards show over Outkast, or was it the other way around? People arguing that Outkast were the Most Important Band in America and the White Stripes were just retro revivalists. Funny how that worked out in the long run…

I heard that Hobostink song on the radio the other week. Yup, they suck.

Is there much more of a meaningless phrase than, “It’s my life!” whether it’s Talk Talk, the Animals, Bon Jovi, or Billy Joel? Yes, it is. It’s everybody’s. Nothing special to observe here. So what?

On edit: It was the 2004 Grammys. Outkast beat out White Stripes for album of the year.
