but that’s neither here nor there. I never listened to Fountains Of Wayne much either in spite of glowing reviews for their first two albums. Their hit was okay but got old after awhile.

I had heard of Ken Stringfellow’s problems when reading reviews for The Posies’ Dear 23 (which I liked a lot) and Big Star’s In Space (which was pretty mediocre, but “Lady Sweet” was a beautiful song…and not written by Alex Chilton) but didn’t read articles about them. Eeew gross, he bites people.

Of course, I’d read A Man Called Destruction about Alex Chilton who beat his girlfriends quite a bit too, so there’s that.
