Hey, IFC is running a Friday the 13th marathon all day today. I tuned in halfway through a film called Friday the 13th from the 2010s, very much not the 1980ish original. As far as I can tell it sucks.
Now is The Final Chapter. These are uncensored, I should mention, no titty or f-bomb left aside.
Is Corey Feldman the dweeby kid, like a 1980s Haley Joel Osment? I get him mixed up with Corey Hart, which I understand is comnon. I’m about five years too young to know anything about ’80s icons.
The Big Problem ≠ The Solution is the better of the things Crispin Glover did that year. It has Gloverian charisma but Jesus, what a character. Is he supposed to be a Jewish stereotype?
Terrific second half. The impaled-through-the-penis death is big lulz.
A Nightmare of Elm Street was the better series because it had a more interesting oremise than Friday the 13th that placed certain strictures upon the plot. Friday the 13th is just “invincible zombie killing machine massacres teenagers and dies”, with more deaths than Victor Newman.
Harold takes a shit in the opening tableau of Friday the 13th, Part 3 and neither wipes, flushes, nor washes his hands. It’s really bugging me.
I know you’re the Friday (Viernes) jefe here so I’ll leave it to you to do some fancy talkin.
