Well, either way it wouldn’t be a viking longship, it would be a penteconter, as Homer described.
The movie had a budget of $250 million… but they borrowed a longship from some Norwegian guy. They couldn’t just commission a Greek boatbuilder to build a replica? Then sold it afterwards? What did they spend 250 mil on? Are hollywood movies just money laundering operations these days?
