Aftermath is definitely one of my favorite Stones records. Probably top 3 at this point (Sticky Fingers and Let It Bleed are very overplayed for me and Exile is overrated in general). Definitely has a great number of fun songs with really good melodies. I like I Am Waiting. I think Wes Anderson used it on one of his movies. It being prissy is probably why he used it.

Going Home is pretty worthless but I guess it can be ignored being at the end. It was one of the first rock songs to be an extended length and go on jamming for awhile but it doesn’t do much of anything interesting. They just kind of squandered a good chance for something interesting unlike Zappa on Freak Out the same year or Sad Eyed Lady by Dylan
