Of all the 10 minute plus stuff attempted by anyone between 1965 and 1967, only the two long Dylan tracks are classics, IMO. “The End” worked better in Apocalypse Now and I’m lukewarm on “When The Music’s Over.” The Zappa song is stunning to imagine people listening to it in 1966, but it’s not actually a great track by itself, though it closes a great album.
