Oh I agree completely–hair metal hardly died right away, there were still plenty of best selling mainstream hair metal albums between 1991-93. It was a popular sport for years to claim that Queensryche’s “Silent Lucidity” was the most played MTV video on 1991, and not “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
