“I Would Do Anything for Love”? “500 Miles”? “Two Peinces”? “Rhythm is a Dancer?” Yes please! (Did you know the rap in “Rhythm” isn’t in the album version? Serious as a head cold.)
After doing the ’80s and ’00s, maybe 2010s, do the top ten songs on the rock chart. Watching Beavis and Butt-Head has taught me that early-to-mid ’90s rock wasn’t (a) all that good, and (b) all that different from the late ’80s, grunge notwithstanding. There’s a lot of hair metal in the mainstream rock of 1993.
