He was a smart guy but unlikeable except when he was an assclown. I always got the sense that he was trying very hard somehow and not always hitting the mark. The alpha tough-guy schtick was a bit much and in the back of my mind I always wondered if he was really five-foot-nothing, 120 pounds, who would enjoy being cuckolded but was too insecure to seek it out. Hence the keyboard warrior routine. I guarantee he wasn’t nearly as confident and high-powered as he took pains to present himself online. There was always something forced about his persona.
