Hey, last time a curmudgeonly rock star didn’t want anything to do with the biopic about their crappy formative years, we got that masterpiece England Is Mine about Morrissey being a loser office drone in the late 70s, starring an actor who didn’t look like Morrissey, didn’t sing his songs in the movie, and didn’t do any research into Morrissey to play the role! And about eight people saw it!

It’s interesting that it’d be about his Attila/Cold Spring Harbor years though.
