However much you may dislike Bob, this kind of character assassination proves that cancel culture mentality is not just a right wing myth. There really are woke puritans who are this petty and prone to selective reading to reinforce their pre-decided bias.

Disingenuous, too. I went back and reread some of the allegedly offensive reviews. Aside from Bjork’s Vespertine which really is Notes From a Dirty Old Man cringy, and maybe the PJ Harvey reviews, nothing is as horribly misogynist as she makes it sound. And how many times did Christgau use the words orgasm and boner in his Kate Bush reviews? Once. Each. One of which refers to Henry James.
